We are a curated network of 150+ accredited angels determined to change the landscape for female founders by bringing smaller tickets together under one line on the cap table.
We invest in early stage startups across Europe with at least one female founder on the team.

We started from a network of 10 investors and have grown into a network of 150+ accredited Angels. We invest in the best performing companies and above all prioritise diversity and impact to make a significant change in the world.
We have angels who have scaled and exited companies, some of them multiple times. We have highly experienced operators from successful startups as well as high-level executives from corporates. All our angels are either certified HNWIs or certified sophisticated investors. If you’re unsure if you are either of these, please read the requirements here.

We invest into tech-enabled startups in the UK and the rest of Europe with at least one female founder.
Stage: Pre-Seed/Seed/Seed+
Sectors: Agnostic with primary focus on FInTech, Sustainability and Healthcare. -

After you have filled in the application form, we will setup an introductory call with you to learn about you and your investment preferences and share how we work at Sie.
Then you will be required to self certify as either a HNWI or sophisticated investor (see angel-investor-accreditation here for more details).
Once the required paperwork has been signed, you will be added to our network of investors and we will send you deals as and when they become available.

There is an FCA regulatory framework for angel investing that both protects the Angel and the entrepreneurs they invest into.
Before we can send you any deals or receive any investments from you, you will need to ensure that you are self-certified as either a High Net Worth or Sophisticated Investor, as defined by the FCA under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA).
As a certified high net worth individual you confirm that you either:
In the last financial year have had an annual income of £100,000 or more. (Income does not include any one-off pension approvals).
In the last financial year, you have had net assets of £250,000 or more. (Net assets do not include: your home (primary residence), your pension (or any pension withdrawals) or any rights under qualifying contracts of insurance.)
As a certified sophisticated investor you confirm one of the following:
You have been a member of a network or syndicate of business angels for more than 6 months
You have been the director of a company with an annual turnover of at least £1M
You have worked in private equity or in the provision of finance for medium and small enterprises
As part of the onboarding process to Sie Syndicate, we will require that you sign a self certification.

We currently have about 150 investors and counting. We have investors from all walks of life - exited founders, operators in startups and scale-ups, corporate executives and people who just believe in our mission and want to be a part of the movement supporting women founders.

You can choose how involved or hands-off you want to be. We have a screening committee that helps us with looking at deals and also experts that help us in each vertical: fintech, healthcare, future of work and sustainability. If you wish to be a part of any of those just let us know during your introductory call and we can onboard you

Most of our investors invest between £10K - £100K and the minimum investment per deal is £5k per investor.
